Why it matters for contractors
The job is too big to award on a phone call
Nobody hands over a multi-million-shilling build off a WhatsApp message alone. They look for evidence: finished projects, a real address, an NCA number. A website is where that evidence lives, and where it stays available at 9pm when the client is actually deciding.
Prequalification asks for a website
Tender and prequalification documents routinely ask for company details and a web address. Leaving it blank, or worse writing in an address that no longer loads, reads exactly like the thing you do not want it to read like.
Your finished work is your best argument
Photographs of completed projects do more selling than any paragraph. Most contractors have hundreds of these sitting in a phone gallery where no client will ever see them.

Things people ask before they hire us
Do I need a website if I get work by referral?
Referral still starts the job, but it rarely finishes it. The person referred to you looks you up before calling, and increasingly that check happens before you ever know your name came up. A site does not replace referral, it stops referral leaking.
I have photos but no written content. Is that enough?
Usually yes. Project photos plus a short description of each build is most of a contractor site. We write around what you send. Copy is included in the Growth tier and can be added to the others.
Can you show my NCA registration and category?
Yes, and you should. It is one of the first things a serious client checks and it separates you from unregistered competition immediately.
How much does a contractor website cost?
KES 25,000 for a 3 to 4 page site, KES 45,000 for a 6 to 8 page site with a proper project gallery, KES 75,000 with a quote form and copy written for you. Then from KES 3,000 a month for domain, hosting, backups and updates.
